2011年，松下公司推出了全新的3D高清投影機PT-AE7000EH，AE7000的光路引擎的核心，是一種全新的超高速LCD技術，支持極高的480Hz的刷新率——這是迄今已發布的第二快的成像技術的兩倍。
Full HD 3D家庭影院投影儀PT-AE7000EH正式面市。PT-AE7000EH具有1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixel)分辨率，也是全世界第一臺使用480Hz驅動透明LCD面板的3D投影儀產品，并且支持3D顯示功能，同時還采用了自有Overdrive Technology技術，可以有效降低串擾，提高投影質量。
PT-AE7000EH的關鍵3D投影技術是由松下好萊塢實驗室（Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory）的工程師們協作開發的，這些工程師們也大量創作3D藍光光盤，并開發投影儀的智能鏡頭存儲（Intelligent Lens Memory）功能，擁有該項技術用戶可以輕松編程調試并獲得六個不同的變焦和對焦位置。

The projector uses a type of liquid crystal panel that typically consists of millions of pixels. This panel is built with very high-precision technology to provide the finest possible image.
